The woord of CURATORS..
THE GREATEST WANT OF THE WORLD
The Greatest want of the world is the want of Men,
Men who will not be bought or sold,
Men who in their inmost souls are true and honest,
Men who do not fear to call sin by its right name,
Men whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole,
Men who will stand for the right though the heavens fall.
Monday is the one-month anniversary of the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Connecticut.
Twenty innocent children and six brave adults lost their lives, and the tragedy sparked a real debate about gun violence in this country — at least for now.
Newspaper headlines and TV news anchors are reporting that our number one priority — fixing the criminal background check system — is at the top of the president’s agenda. That’s a huge victory, and it’s thanks to supporters like you.
Unfortunately, our elected leaders can have short memories. Conventional wisdom in Washington, DC says that if the legislative process drags on long enough, the urgency will fade and Congress won’t have to act.
We can’t let them forget Newtown. And we can’t wait for the next tragedy to fix our broken gun laws.
Will you ask your friends and family to join a million fellow Americans and Demand A Plan to end gun violence? Here’s how:
It’s time for Congress to act. More than 835 mayors from across the country have come together to support common sense solutions to end gun violence.
Requiring criminal background checks for all guns sales. Taking assault weapons and high capacity magazines off our streets. And establishing harsh penalties for illegal gun trafficking.
These solutions are within the reach of our leaders in Washington. They just need your support to make it happen.
For the families of Newtown and the 33 Americans who are murdered with guns every day, please spread the word.
Please do this and save our FUTURE….for our youths, for our children and those yet unborn.
This is URGENT..

Hurry, not much time left.
When we visit the afflicted we are not in so much danger of talking to no profit. But many of the young choose to be where there is no sorrow, no affliction, that with a light and trifling spirit they may indulge in speaking unrestrained, without care or forethought. Says the True Witness, “I know thy works.” I would say to our young friends, You must have an experience in these things. You must bear burdens; encourage and cherish tender, pitiful feelings towards the suffering; study how you may be of use to others—do them good and make them happy. Do not be wrapt up in self and think merely of your own enjoyment. If there are poor, sick, and afflicted among you, do not wait to be invited to see them and have a care for them. Go to them at once. If there is an afternoon visit anticipated, deny your self the pleasure of joining your young friends in a social visit or chit chat, and go to the house of affliction. Set your young friends an example. They may be persuaded to follow you; and hours spent with the poor, the afflicted and distressed, are precious. Angels keep a faithful record of it all, and your own conscience will commend you. Right doing will not go unrewarded. Think of the self-denying, self-sacrificing life of Jesus our pattern, who went about doing good. Who imitates his example? It is time we were awake to our duty, and that we realized that it takes more than a name to make a Christian. It is to be Christ-like. We are to be judged according to the deeds done in the body. Reader, What kind of an account will be opened of your case? If you have cared only for yourself, God notices it if others pass it by. That which you sow, you will also reap. Embrace every opportunity that presents itself for doing good. Have your life dotted all through with bright spots where self has been denied, and others benefitted. Let your experience be interwoven with acts of benevolence, and you cannot fail to be happy while you are making others happy; and you will finally receive the reward to be given to those who have “well done.” – GS 0.0
The Lord Jesus has given special directions as to what each of His “little children” is to do. When we pray, “Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those that trespass against us,” do we do our part to answer this prayer? …If our brother has ought against us, we are to leave on the altar the gift we have brought to God, and be reconciled to our brother. Then we are to come and offer our gift. This is the only way in which we can keep in our hearts the peace of God.—Letter 12, January 11, 1903, , to Edson White. – TDG 19.5
Once upon a time, a son was born and a child was given… He is in his twenties now. I am this son, born to an Adventist family and always believed the Bible as the only source of Wisdom and understanding.
for God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. 1 Cor. 14:33
I believed God is not an author of confusion, so I trust the Bible wholly.
For the scriptures is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Tim. 3:16-17.
These days most preachers of the gospel has turned the scripture into an object of ridicule, teachings which are hypocritical and profane ideas for lust and selfish desires.
The question I believe most people will ask and have asked is “why are there so many churches and denominations in the world, reading from the same Holy Bible but have different understandings and meanings of what the Bible teaches us or talks about”.
As a preacher of the gospel and follower of Christ, you are fully aware of the fact that your congregation believes your interpretation of the Bible as an inspiration “from above”, why then teach from your head, with your head. The Bible is not ‘tell them what they want to hear, but it is ‘tell them what the Bible wants them to hear, know and believe by faith.’
You as a preacher of the gospel, now glorifies your pocket through taking advantage of the scriptures and misinterpreting the entire scriptures… For God’s sake, the Bible is written in English language and if at all its translated in to your language, the meaning is not far-fetched. Why then do you fashion it to suit your present selfish desires. I say its selfish, because the Bible is the easiest book to understand in the entire universe, with heart-open to hear from God.
I therefore urge you preachers of the gospel to be watchful of the flocks that God has entrusted into your care, if you teach them heresy, God will hold you accountable….
God bless you and may the peace of God be with you. Amen.
Mother Teresa Quotes
People are often unreasonable and self-centered
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives
Be kind anyway.
If you are honest, people may cheat you
Be honest anyway.
If you find happiness, people may be jealous.
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow.
Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough.
Give you best anyway.
For you see, in the end, it is between you and your God.
It was never between you and them anyway.
My heart desires you
But nature is resisting it
Searching through my mind
I believe I live my mum
I love my dad
In fact my family as a whole I love them
Out of these, my heart still longs for someone
But nature is fighting me.
If life were to be a bed of ROSES, I would have loved to hold you both day and night.
Despite you making me cry everyday
My love for you goes on and on.
I was actually on my bed last night and the thought of you was all over me,
Of which I was trying to resist the thoughts of you but it keeps coming.
At a time, I discovered I’ve thought about you for 6 good hours
And for these hours it was like a second to me,
Of which my heart desires you,
But destiny is resisting it.
Meanwhile, my love for you goes on and on.
In recent time I see you as the reason why I smile,
Walking down the street,
Sitting and enjoying natures goodness,
And in everything I do.
My heart keeps in search of you every moment.
For the love I’ve shown to you,
It may look spurious,
But mind you I’m not a sycophant
Of which my heart desires you
But destiny is resitting it.
Meanwhile, my love for you goes on and on.
I have in my few years of existence come to realize that the extent of sincerity of purposes is retrogressing each day I wake to see a new light of day.
So many friends had over the years given course for a doubt of their true friendship towards me and towards others… but that is not what I intend to share today.
My saddened heart is concerned with employer – employee relationship. For a fact, I’m still a student, who have been trying to understand why an employer would not want to let go of an employee when he threatens quit, but rather would want to give him a raise. For a fact too, I’ve observed that most employees cannot quit their present jobs and survive well within a space of 2 – 3 months still searching for another job, all for the fear of not missing out in the pittance he is receiving at the moment. This really bothers me as most employers are so quick to give you a raise the moment you tender a resignation letter or you tell them you have been hired some other place with a better pay. They also wish to throw you out so quickly the moment they see you are no longer needed in the organization, to me this is unfair to the families of the employee, who have sacrificed the family member to serve you for years without being adequately recognized, its unfair to the employee who with the zeal and passion to serve and see you succeed, you still feel you dictate the shots.
Time will tell if we are truly sincere to our employees… Don’t you dare say that the employee is not sincere, because a fruit doesn’t get bad until there is a contact from an external…
Time and posterity will judge.
